Home > Playing The Course > Hole  9

Length off the tee is the key to playing this uphill par four that is guarded by a hidden lake in front of the green. If your tee shot is short, the best strategy will be to lay up to the hundred yard mark and take your chances getting up and in with your wedge. The approach shot will require at least one more club due to the steep uphill nature of the terrain, and if short will seldom bounce up onto the green. Once again, remember to observe that Boundary Oak Golf Course is built on the side of Mount Diablo. This green is no exception, all putts break to the valley.
